Tim R. Mastel+
Tim began his career in the financial services industry over 20 years ago as a Registered Representative with Prudential. His career lead him to Allianz Life in a wholesaler capacity which allowed him to better understand what producers need to be successful in the field. In 2006 Tim decided to found Advisors Resource LLC to provide the support all producers look for in a marketing organization. Tim holds a BA in Business and Finance from Marquette University along with his series 6,63 and 65 registrations.
Dave has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He understands what a marketing organization must provide in order to result in true growth in the field, which lead to joining Advisors Resource LLC with Tim Mastel in 2008. Through their shared experience they have created a marketing organization that provides the best practices learned over more than 40 years of shared time in the industry. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.

Matt has over 13 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Matt spent a decade at Allianz Life in Distribution, Operations and Project Management. His background enables him to streamline the sales process, monitor results and maximize sales opportunities. Residing in Minnetrista, Matt lives with his wife Anne, twin boys and enjoys fishing and classic cars.
Andy has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on Fixed, Fixed Indexed and Variable Annuities as well as Indexed Universal Life Insurance. He is passionate about what he does and strives to make an positive impact with all of his producers on a daily basis. He believes there are wholesalers and there are business partners, he is a partner helping to add value and grow producers business. He spent over 7 years at the Allianz Life, the largest writer of FIA’s in various sales positions. In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife Jolina, daughter Maren and son Liam, and spending time outdoors.
Director of Marketing
Andrew started in the financial industry in 2001 working as a financial advisor with Waddell and Reed. He has been working in the FMO/BGA market since 2005, with his specialty focused on life insurance sales. Andrew lives with his wife Amy, and two children, Isabelle and Bradey, in Richland Center, WI. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, gardening and watching sports.
Drew Dvorak is the Sr. Director of Sales with Advisors Resource. He got his start in the annuity and life insurance space at Allianz Life. After spending 2 years learning from the best advisors in the industry, he made the choice to partner up with Advisors Resource. He prides himself on his ability to think outside the box through vast knowledge of the FIA and Life landcape. He is a firm believer in working closely with his advisors and utilizing client information to create the best annuity or life solution available. Drew is also a registered representative with The Leaders Group, recently completing his Series 6 and 63 licenses. In his spare time, Drew enjoys spending time on the golf course.
Nicole Sandstrom joined Advisors Resource, LLC in 2008 after deciding to pursue working on the brokerage side of the business. She brings 12 years experience from Prudential working in a retail distribution branch office, brokerage home office and as new business case manager for a Prudential agent directly for 6 years. In her role as office manager she works with life contracting, commissions and all aspects of managing the office.
With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Joel spent the majority of that time at the number one FIA carrier. His advisors know they can count on him for 24/7 sales support and innovative ideas to help grow their business. His vast knowledge of marketing, income strategies for retirement, sales and service makes him a great partner to help grow producers business. In his free time Joel enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids and is an avid fan of basketball.
Joe has multiple years of experience in the financial services industry including numerous years as a captive field agent for one of the countries largest mutual Insurers, as well as distribution experience from a multinational fraternal insurer. His familiarity with both the captive and independent distribution models allows him to easily identify with the issues independent agents face in the field while uniquely positioning him to be an expert partner for your practice for distribution and marketing. He currently lives with his fiancé Celine in Bloomington, MN. Joe enjoys spending his free time with his young nieces and nephews and is an avid fan of the Minnesota sports scene.
Director of Suitability and New Business
Ben joined Advisors Resource in 2015 to begin his career in the financial services industry. He spent the previous four years working in operations and vendor management for a software company. During his time with Advisors Resource, Ben has helped in all facets of the business before settling into his current role in New Business and Suitability. Utilizing his vendor management experience, Ben works with producers and carriers to ensure a smooth sales process. Ben lives in the Minneapolis area with his wife Megan. He enjoys staying active and working on his fixer upper in his spare time.
